What if the weather is not suitable?Skydiving is a weather dependent sport. We will remain open on questionable days, tracking the weather. If the weather is questionable on the day you are scheduled, please give us a call at 386 738 3539. If we are unable to skydive, we will reschedule your skydive for a different day. If you are unable to reschedule, we will issue a full refund.
My reservation is at 9am, when will I jump? There are so many factors in our sport of skydiving such as weather and local aviation that we are unable to predict the actual time of the jump. The time you schedule is your arrival time and we ask that you allow three to four hours to complete your exciting experience of skydiving. We have a full service restaurant on the premises and an observation deck with a playground to watch the skydivers while you wait for your skydive.
How far in advance should I make your reservation? We recommend a reservation a few days in advance. Weekends are the busiest day and fill up quickly. Walk-ins are welcomed to the best of our ability, however reservations have priority.
Can you breathe in freeall?Yes! The freefall and parachute environments do not cause any difficulty in breathing; however, some students have commented that it was awkward to breathe during the first few seconds. This is caused not by lack of oxygen but by the surge of adrenaline and excitement of first the skydive! Sometimes when a person is startled they draw in a breath of air and hold it. When you exit the airplane breath in and breathe out or just scream with excitement!
Can I jump with prescription glasses or contact lenses? We want you to see your amazing experience as you soar above beautiful DeLand, Florida. We have special goggles that fit over prescription glasses. If you wear contacts, please inform your instructor when getting suited up for your tandem skydive.
Can I jump with an injury or medical problem? There are some physical limitations and will require an evaluation from an instructor. For any medical concerns please seek advise from your physician.
Is there a weight limit? The weight limit for tandem passenger is 225 pounds. There are a few factors that may allow us to take someone slightly over the weight limit. Anyone over the poste weight limit must be evaluated in person by an instructor who will evaluate height and weight proportions. If the instructor feel that safety will not be compromise, they may take you.
Is there a minimum and maximum age limit? You must be at least 18 years old and present a valid government picture ID. If you are under 18, a parent cannot sign for you to skydive. There is no upper age limit as long as you are healthy and have no medical infirmities.
